THE SALON
“Once social change begins, it cannot be reversed.” Cesar Chavez
SAY SOMETHING curates monthly SALONS — evenings of radical consciousness paired with appetizers and cocktails.
The salons are a space in which to share ideas, cultivate intelligent discourse, spark change, and connect with thought leaders and doers. They consist of short talks and a Question&Answer period followed by opportunities to engage with each other — and sometimes move to music.
The Salons were inspired by the Paris Salons of the 18th century which encouraged the exchange of political ideas and revolutionary sentiment. They also were inspired by the Saloons of the Old West – repositories of information and catalysts of action – where you could strike up a conversation with a stranger and share a wicked drink.
Attendance is by invitation only.
