There is only one human race.Det finnes bare én menneskerase.
"What more powerful form of study of mankind could there be than to read our own instruction book?"
— Francis Collins, Director of the Human Genome Project
A global campaign to change the way we talk about each other — starting with abolishing racial categories. In keeping with the findings of the Human Genome Project, there is only one race, the Human Race. This campaign is built on science, powered by people like you.

The story behind the campaign
Put one stone on top of the other.
A plan to end racism, discrimination, and bullying — step by step.
I don't think there is any serious person, company, school or organisation that does not want to end racism and discrimination. We can only succeed if we make it a common responsibility and do it step by step. We have the solution — we just need you, and everybody else, to be part of it.
The Mission
End racism, discrimination, and bullying — by shaping minds.
SaySomething exists to change the way people think, talk, and act towards each other. We know this is one of the biggest challenges of our time. And we know it can't be solved in a single move. So we are building it stone by stone.
We cannot do this all by ourselves — so if you agree that we should end racism, let's together start by bringing science into the language. We very much want your support.
1453
Racial categories were invented to justify the slave trade.
In 1453, the Portuguese royal chronicler Gomes Eanes de Zurara wrote the first known defence of the African slave trade — sorting human beings into invented categories to make exploitation feel natural. Colonial powers then formalised these racial classifications into law and "science" through the 17th century. There is no scientific basis for them whatsoever. Sorting people into different races is as factually wrong as saying some people are blue. Yet we have all inherited these categories and kept using them — and every time we do, we quietly reinforce the idea that human value can be measured by skin colour.
Consider the absurdity
"Blue people are thieves and liars."
We would instantly recognise that statement as nonsense — because we know there are no blue people, and that appearance tells us nothing about character. Racial stereotyping works exactly the same way. It is just as invented, just as false, and just as absurd. The only difference is that we have been repeating it for so long that it started to feel real.
99.9%
of human DNA is identical across all people — confirmed by the Human Genome Project.

human race. That is what the science says. That is what our language should reflect.

Stone 1 — Now
One Human Race: debunk a centuries-old marketing trick.
Our first stone is to correct the language — not just a single word, but the racial categories built on it. Replace categories invented for oppression with the truth science has already given us. The One Human Race campaign turns this into a grassroots movement — giving people, organisations, and brands a simple, powerful thing they can do right now: stop sorting people into invented racial categories, and start speaking of the one race we all belong to — the Human Race.
False categories separate us. One Human Race unites us.
Active now — join us

Stone 2 — Next
Shape minds at scale — in schools, workplaces, and communities.
With a common, science-based language in place, we build on it. Educational programmes, workplace initiatives, and community tools — all designed to shift how people think and how they treat each other.
3
Stone 3 — The goal
A world where discrimination has no foundation left to stand on.
Every stone makes the next one possible. A campaign becomes a movement. A movement becomes a norm. A norm becomes the world our children grow up in.
It is time to correct this fundamental error — and move on to the next phase of human history.
"The first stone is ready. We're looking for founding partners who want to be part of the foundation — not just the story."

Press & Media
For journalists, bloggers & influencers
The One Human Race campaign is a first-of-its-kind grassroots initiative to align everyday language with science. We welcome press coverage and are happy to provide interviews, data, and background materials.
At SAY SOMETHING, we believe that meaningful change requires more than conversation—it demands structured, scalable action. Every contribution—whether through product sales or corporate partnership—directly supports the design, development, and delivery of programs that reduce racism, discrimination, and bullying while cultivating empathy, inclusion, and shared humanity.
Our goal is to transform the success of our Norwegian model into an international movement, empowering communities worldwide to implement proven methods for human understanding and cooperation.
I. Building a Global Platform for Change
Funds will enable the creation of a digital platform where organizations and local partners across the world can access Say Something’s tested programs. Inspired by the TEDx model, this platform will allow each community to host and adapt programs locally while maintaining the integrity of the original method. It will also serve as a global hub for training, collaboration, and impact measurement.
II. Expanding Core Programs
Your support strengthens and scales the initiatives that define our mission:
THE METHOD: A tested framework for preventing racism and bullying through dialogue and awareness.
THE DOCUMENTARY: A film chronicling the movement to abolish race as a false scientific concept and build unity through shared humanity.
THE CAMPAIGN: Human-centered storytelling of personal experiences of injustice and/or when they broke their silence and said something in support of someone who was being the target of injustice. The Campaign also encourages people to take the pledge to Say Something in the face of injustice.
THE SALON: A curated forum for reflection and transformation through conversation.
THE EXHIBITION: A traveling multimedia experience connecting art, data, and empathy.
III. Advancing Innovation and Research
Funds will also advance the next generation of SaySomething initiatives:
MULTI-LANGUAGE DIGITAL COURSE: Enhanced with AI-generated content to make our training accessible to schools, organizations, and individuals around the world.
SCHOOL TRAINING PROGRAMS: Evidence-based modules that equip educators and students to recognize and interrupt discrimination.
IV. Building Capacity and Reach
Revenue from partnerships and product sales sustains our operational growth—expanding our creative team, technical infrastructure, and training capacity—to meet the global demand for a more human future.
Why It Matters. WHY YOU MATTER.
Every purchase and partnership accelerates a simple yet powerful mission: to help people see beyond race, ideology, and inherited bias, and to learn tools for coexistence rooted in truth, science, and mutual respect. Your contribution builds a world where education dismantles prejudice and where dialogue restores humanity.
